Leopard and Stripes

I spent most of last week in Vancouver for work. It was my second trip there in the last two months and I have  developed a serious crush on the city (the relationship progressed quickly given its similarities to San Francisco where I grew up). While I toyed with the idea of packing up my bags and heading back for good, I was too happy to come home to warm sunny weather. IMG_7549 IMG_7541_2 IMG_7533 IMG_7551

A striped shirt and leopard pumps feel classic, preppy and fun. The shirt is one of my staples as it can be worn many different ways as seen with a sheer skirt here and boyfriend jeans here.  These leopard heels have quickly become a new favorite of mine as they are just as versatile (also worn here).

Striped shirt: Gap, jeans: Cheap Monday, belt: H&M, embellished bag: c/o Juicy Couture, leopard heels: Sam Edelman, leaf bracelet: Banana Republic, rings: Suzanne Felsen (cocktail), Ariel Gordon (knot band).

Currently Craving: Bit of Glitz

A little bling goes a long way. I’m always attracted to a bit of sparkle or shine, but during the holidays I look for it in everything – from cupcakes to cards. Chunky gemstones and metallic accents are always lovely, but especially this time of year.

Embellished clasps at Juicy Couture in Beverly Hills.

A votive holder painted gold inside holds metal makeup brushes.

Glittery gold pumpkin seeds and salt sit atop a salted caramel filled pumpkin cupcake with chocolate ganache frosting (yes, I’m serious) from Bouchon Bakery.

Fun, colorful bracelets.

Random metallic dots on polka dot notecards next to my matching colorful circle bookmarks.
