I love water and drink it constantly. Staying hydrated helps me feel great and look great – it works wonders for the skin. For a simple twist on a classic glass of H2O, I add fresh fruit or herbs. This can be done with flat or sparkling water. Here, I created two pitchers of flavored water with farmer’s market ingredients, blueberry and lemon, and strawberry, cucumber and mint.
Let the ingredients sit in the water for at least an hour or two before serving. The longer the mixture sits, the more the fruit flavors (and color) will seep into the water. Flavored water makes a pretty presentation for entertaining. It’s also fun to try new combinations and encourages me to drink even more water during these hot, hot days (it’s be in the 90s in L.A.)!
