I did pretty close to nothing this weekend. My boyfriend and I house sat in the Hollywood Hills. We spent the weekend enjoying the pool, gorgeous weather and beautiful views. We watched some of the Olympics and Breaking Bad (totally hooked). It was beyond relaxing.

I love how simply a dress can be transformed not only with accessories (as demonstrated here), but also with a shirt or sweater over top. I threw this plaid, button down blouse with ruffle sleeves over my basic dress to transform it into a skirt for brunch on Sunset Boulevard.
Dress and blouse: Nordstrom, wedges: Zara, belt: H&M, beaded clutch: vintage, bracelets: Asos (link), Sheila Fajl (thin bangles), Jessica Elliott (wood and rope bangle), studs: vintage.
Beauty note: I created a smokey eye with plum eyeliner and paired it with pale pink lipstick. I am in desperate need of a hair cut, so I pulled my hair back. I started with a half ponytail and then split the remaining hair into two more ponytails.
