Colorblocking in Tangerine Tango

These photos were taken a few weeks ago before our last dinner in Hawaii (see photo two). This color blocked dress felt flirty, fun and just sexy enough for a special date night. Strapless dresses are my go-to for special occasions. I find them particularly flattering; exposed clavicles are sexy in an unobvious way.  I paired the flirty dress with sneakers and a denim-colored clutch to keep the outfit low-key. It was perfect for a long walk along the beach and soaking up our last few hours of beautiful views over a delicious meal.

Dress: Urban Outfitters (also love this and this), sneakers: Converse Jack Purcell, clutch: Rebecca Minkoff (similar here and here), sunglasses: Ray-Ban (similar), bracelets: vintage (triple strand), Sheila Fajl (thin bangles), Bauble Bar (neon orange and gold link), wood ring: bought at a street fair, green cardigan: H&M.

Beauty note: I didn’t want to spend any time on my beauty routine while on vacation. I spritzed beach-y texturizing spray in my hair and scrunched to quickly create soft waves. For makeup, tinted SPF moisturizer and waterproof mascara were lightweight enough for the heat and humidity, and beach-ready.

I was thinking about getting the lighter pink version of that Rebecca Minkoff clutch. Should we be bag twins? ;)
