Get Low: Drop Waist Dresses and Strappy Flats

The fall back to cooler temperatures in L.A. has me yearning for summer.  I cannot wait to wear dresses and sandals without tights or chunky sweaters. Currently, I’m after two things: low waisted dresses and ankle strap flats. I am craving low waist lines with full skirts in pretty hues or prints like this one from Alexander McQueen’s fall show – and ankle strap flats with unique details.

Also, in case you need a distraction from being productive this afternoon, Chanel has an e-exhibit featuring its black jackets. Karl Lagerfeld shot models and celebrities (like Anna Wintour – of course she wears the iconic tweed, Elle Fanning, Kanye West, Elizabeth Olsen and Lauren Hutton) wearing black Chanel jackets styled by Carine Roitfeld.
